Exporting Lists from RealNex

To export the records, first, open the table you wish to export (Contacts, Properties, etc.).

The Exported file will export whichever fields you currently have in your view, so the first step is to click on Views and then Edit:

This will open a window where you can select which fields you wish to export:

The left-hand panel contains all fields that are not currently in your view, split into different sections.

The right-hand panel contains all of the selected fields that will appear in the view and will be exported when that option is selected.

You can double-click fields on the left, or multi-select using ctrl or shift+ click and then using the > button in the middle to add those fields.

Once you have selected your fields for export, you can then save this View to use again in the future by clicking Save As and then New. Give the view a name and, if you want it to appear directly in the Views drop-down on the main screen, check the Save as Favorite checkbox.

Once you've saved the View, click Apply.

Next, click the Output button on the Toolbar and then Excel:

You’ll be given an option between Selected Records or All Records in Current Query. Selected Records requires you to check the checkbox on each record you wish to export. The Current Query will only export records that you have filtered. If no filters all set, this option will export all records.

When you export, this will produce a .xlsx file with the selected fields as well as the Record Ids internal to RealNex. These ID's can be used to later re-import the records and use that field to match the record in RealNex with that row in the spreadsheet.
