    What are Best Practice Workflows?

    Available for all users, in the RealNex Training Center, Best Practice Workflows are just that - processes that are needed to conduct your business within RealNex.

     

    We take the guesswork out of developing processes in your RealNex account, combining different features and functionalities into a cohesive workflow that gives you the power to only focus on the RealNex capabilities that are going to help you FindWin, and Close more deals.

     

    Each step is its own SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) document, detailing what is needed to complete the step, or reviewing important information to progress along a step.

     

    While you are able to download each SOP document and save it for your future reference, we use a tool like MindManager to build workflows is because we are able to easily update the SOPs themselves.

    Whether a process changes due to new features, or even just to update screenshots, we recommend coming back to the Training Center to view the most-recent workflow!

    How do I use a Best Practice Workflow?

    There are three things to know about interacting with a workflow:

    1. Workflow Steps - If the step is orange and has an arrow pointing to it, it contains an SOP

      • Click the orange bubble to open the document in a new tab
    2. Adjust your View - If you would like to see the entire workflow...
      • Click "View" > "Fit", OR
      • Use the Zoom in/out slider on the right
    3. Moving around the Workflow - Need to scroll over to the next step?
      • Click into any blank space in the workflow itself, then...
      • While holding 'Spacebar' on your keyboard, click, hold and drag to pan through the workflow - release both the spacebar and your click to stop moving:

     

    What if I already have best practices developed for myself or my team?

    Don't worry - the available Best Practice Workflows are simply to get you going. 

     

    As with any tech solution, there are multiple ways to complete a process - we're simply giving you the starting point.

     

    Feel free to review our Best Practice Workflows and incorporate different pieces into your developed workflow - you might learn a more efficient way to complete your process!
