This article contains templates for some common data imports for the RealNex CRM, and how to add additional fields to them.
If you're looking for help with importing, this guide walks through the process.
Each template consists of two files: A RealNex Import Map file and a CSV file. The CSV file can be opened and edited in Excel, and the RealNex CRM Import Map can be loaded in the CRM Desktop application.

Instructions for Using These Templates
First, save the CSV and Import Map files that you are wanting to use to your desktop.
Next, you'll need to open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application, such as Excel. You will see the different columns, along with some example data already filled in.
Next, you'll want to fill in the spreadsheet with your data, making sure to keep the columns matched up. If you have any additional columns, you can add them here, making sure that each column has a unique name as a header in row 1. For additional columns, the name itself doesn't matter as the process of importing is manual, and so you'll have the chance to tell the program which field each column should be placed into.
Once you have modified the spreadsheet with your data, save and close the spreadsheet.
Next, within the RealNex CRM, click File > Import > File/Database.
This will open the Import File/Database Wizard.
First, select the type of data you want to import. Select the type for the file that you downloaded above.
Next, click on the browse button on Use an existing import map.
On the Load Import Map screen, click From Disk and navigate to where you saved the template.
Finally, click the Browse button on Select the file to import, and then click Next.
You will then see a screen displaying a sample of the data that is to be imported.
If you modified or added any columns to your spreadsheet, you can click the Edit Map button to make changes to your import map. For more information on editing your import map, This Guide on Importing will walk you through the process.
Once you have edited the map and confirmed the information looks good on the preview screen, click Next. If you made any changes to your map, you can save those changes now.
Select your import options on this screen, and click again. One more Next and the import wizard will begin importing your data.
